Hello, first of all, thanks for this awesome piece of software.

I’m wondering whether there is another way of triggering a deployment event (e.g. from the UI) besides the CLI tool. I couldn’t find the answer to this question anywhere on github or this board either.

If the answer is no, what is the reason? I believe it could be a good feature for the UI.

I’m comfortable with command line utilities but not everybody in my team is on the same page.

If you are using GitHub, you could use [the probot-deploy](https://github.com/apps/probot-deploy) App.

Thanks, I actually am using bitbucket but I wanted to migrate to a self hosted gitea instance. IMO it would feel natural to have a button on the drone UI.

Maybe I’ll do it myself and issue a pull request.

That would work with GitHub Enterprise too 😉

GitHub is out of the picture, but I’ll keep that in mind.

Anyway, I found out that there is already someone working on it ([https://github.com/drone/drone-ui/pull/191](https://github.com/drone/drone-ui/pull/191)), see also this: [https://github.com/drone/drone/issues/2181](https://github.com/drone/drone/issues/2181).

So this post can be closed.
