# How to do shallow cloning

I dont think cloning with depth=1 is there on the current repository. Any way to enable this?

If the default cloning does not meet your needs, you can disable and write your own clone commands. See [https://docs.drone.io/pipeline/docker/syntax/cloning/#custom-logic](https://docs.drone.io/pipeline/docker/syntax/cloning/#custom-logic)
